Shanghai Daily Newspaper 2008-9-9
FIVE extra motor racing events will add more excitement to the 2008 F1 competition in Shanghai, Jiefang Daily reported today.
In this year's Formula One Shanghai stage, the three day meetings will now include the Asia Porsche Carrera Cup, the Formula BMW Asia, the Asian GP2, the Aston Martin Asian Series and the Speedcar comptition.
These will all add value for motor racing fans.
Dutch-born Chinese GP2 driver Tung Ho-pin will compete in the Asian GP2. He joined the Italy-based Trident racing team earlier this year for the 2008 European GP2 series.
The F1 Shanghai will be held from October 17 to 19 at the Shanghai International Circuit in Jiading District, northwest of Shanghai.
