Hi, Brendon,
If you want high performance from your bike, a End can exhaust can help not too big, most probably 2-4 HP, to obtain the best performance, in your bike¡¯s case, you¡¯ll need to do a Re-jetting on your bike by getting the Dynojet Jetkit that includes jets and float pins. I think this will give you more power (again, maybe another 2-6 HP) but the bike will be a lot more drivable as the throttle response and Fuel/Air Will be much better them OEM or just adding on a end Can. On some bikes, adding a high flow/Performance End car can cause bad backfiring due to bad Fuel/Air mixture.
As for front forks, I don¡¯t think you want to change to a Ohlins fork as they¡¯re very expansive and also they do not produce Forks for Street bikes with standard side up¡ If you want performance, I think the only thing you can do is to change to a better fork oil and according to whether you find the Front too soft or too hard, then use the most suitable weight of Fork oil. Let us know what is the problem with your front fork so we can see if there is anything can be done.

Im enquiring about forks because when you hit a bump or a small raise in the road eg. raised white or yellow lines in the road & the bike will not ride over it smoothly, instead the bike will go off in the wrong direction, also cornering one side is very easy and smooth the other side you have to fight with it, im not a bike mechanic but my thouhghts are that it could be the front shocks, what do you think?

Hello Brendon,
From what I hear, it is definitely not normal.
My first line of action would be to just check out the obvious things such as the correct tightness of the steering head bearings (plus condition of the steering head bearings) and rear swing arm pivot and shock linkages.
You might also like to check the alignment of the front end, but if you are in HK right now, I think you should take it over to our shop, I know Michael is there now, and he can have a good look at it and eliminate most of the obvious problems with a quick look.
Let me know what you find.
Regards,
Kareem

Hello again, just noticed you are in Hainan, if you don't have the tools or experience to check the above things, maybe you can take it to a local shop who has experience in bigger bikes. I am pretty sure Steven has some good contacts there, and maybe he can suggest a suitable shop.

There is no decent bike shop in Hainan..
Brendon, when you sit onm the bike and grab the front brake and really push down hard, is the fork travel proper or its reluctant to go down or come up, also, put a zip tie over 1 side of the fork Tube (where the chrome inner tube is), tie it near the top not too tight , and go out for a hard rider, come back and see how far the zip tie drops.
Also, put the bike on the center stand, and hold on to the bottom of the fork legs, and shake the forks front and back, if there is movement , means the head bearing is worn and need changing.
What you descript also can happen if your tyres are really worn unevenly or its too old, tyres that are too old became very hard so they don't absorb bumps as good and if the sides are all angled unevenly, then they'll feel hard to turn especially on the side that is more worn.
Also 'Did the bike has these problem all the time or it just happened recently ??
